Supergitarist Mike Stern og pianist Jan Gunnar Hoff har gjort turneer sammen i Norge, Estland og Ukraina. Samarbeidet mellom de to startet i 2006 med Hoffs bestillingsverk MAGMA til Nordland Musikkfestuke, der Stern spilte en sentral rolle. Avisa Nordland skrev om MAGMA- premieren i Bodø der hele 740 publikummere møtte opp: “Aldri har så mange jublet så mye på en jazzkonsert i Bodø. Drivende funky jazzfusion fikk følge av vakker, melodiøs balladejazz med både amerikanske og nordiske overtoner”De norske musikerne i bandet; Kleive, Mathisen og Hoff er alle på øverste hylle i norsk og internasjonal jazz med solide karrierer hjemme og ute og utgjør sammen med Stern en kvartett på et høyt internasjonalt nivå.

“A first class artist”, expressed María Luisa Anido when she first heard Margarita Escarpa play in 1990. Ever since then, Margarita has continually reaped many successes and she is now considered one of the main contemporary classical guitarists. She won the Extraordinary End of Studies Prize of the Royal Superior Music Conservatory of Madrid, and shortly after, she obtained her Bachelors degree in mathematics from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. While still a student, she won eight international prizes in addition to various national ones. Her triumph in the international «20th Solo Guitar Competition» of the Guitar Foundation of America was a decisive moment in her career as a performer and ever since she has been at the top of the international guitar scene. She regularly participates in the most important festivals of Europe, Asia and America.

The Guitar Duo KM was founded while Katrin Klingeberg and Sebastián Montes were both studying at the University of Music in Hanover, Germany. As a duo they gave their debut in 2005 performing the Concierto Madrigal by Joaquín Rodrigo for 2 guitars and orchestra. Since then they have performed extensively in many countries in Europe, South America, the USA and Japan. Besides giving concerts the two musicians are invited to give master classes and as jury members at international festivals and competitions. Billetter/Tickets
